Eesti Näituste AS announces that the fairs “Estbuild 2020” and “Interior and Gardening 2020”, as well as the fair “Beauty Fair 2020 Spring”, which were postponed to the beginning of the summer, will not take place this year.
The epidemiological situation in Estonia shows signs of stabilization, but based on the emergency exit plan submitted by the Government of the Republic of Estonia, there is still a long way to go before it is possible to organize major public events. Today, the health and safety of all of us is a priority and therefore it not possible to organize fairs planned for the spring fair season.
Undoubtedly, the cancellation of trade fairs has a major economic impact on exhibitors, trade fair organizers, stand building companies, advertising agencies etc who directly or indirectly were involved in the preparation of trade fairs.
However, we are optimistic about the future, because the previous economic crisis already showed the important role of trade fairs in overcoming the crisis. Participation in trade fairs is an effective tool to help small and medium-sized enterprises to gain a foothold more quickly and better cope with the restoration and redistribution of market positions. Through its trade fairs, Eesti Näituste AS is ready to offer this assistance also in overcoming the current economic crisis.
